Top 10 countries that excel at energy conservation
The World Economic Forum developed The Energy Architecture Performance Index (EAPI) that allows for setting of benchmarks for the current energy performance and the energy conservation policy decisions.
The EAPI sets three primary global energy goals
- Development and economic growth – whether and how country’s energy policies and systems augment or present challenges for growth and development
- Sustainability – impact of energy creation and consumption on the environment
- Energy proliferation – access to diverse sources of energy
