Solvay’s PPS materials pass ATF compatibility tests

Solvay has recently reported that their line on PPS resins that are sold under the trade name of Ryton® passed a wide variety of compatibility tests in most commonly used ATF fluids. Ultra-low viscosity ATF fluids reduce CoF and help reduce frictional losses in a transmission system.

BD planning $60 million investment

Medtech giant BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) will be investing over $60 million to transform the manufacturing facility in Columbus, NE, into a plastic injection molding manufacturing center of excellence by 2021.
